There are three engines available for the Mustang. Kicking off that lineup is a 3.7-liter V6, which is good for a generous 300 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. It can be had with either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic gearbox.
And while the Mustang has never been known for its fuel economy, this six-banger is actually fairly efficient; when had with the automatic transmission, for instance, it should achieve a healthy 22 mpg combined (19 city/28 highway).
